LIS 724: How this blog got started

Back when I was a self-centered and whiny undergraduate student, I started this blog because everyone was doing it and I thought that this would be a perfect place to showcase my brilliant posts about life. Most of those posts turned out to be complaints because, let's face it, I was very self-absorbed and relatively pretentious. Though it's obvious that I haven't been posting here very often (thanks, Facebook!), I still like to participate in Photo Friday and post my pictures here rather than on flickr. Hopefully, I'm less pretentious, though I can't say anything about the self-absorption. After all, I'm still posting here, aren't I?

In case there was any doubt, this is in no way a professional blog. It is just a site where I posted about my days in the oddly romantic hope that I will look back on these posts in the future and reminisce about the "good ol' days." The digital equivalent of the diary, if you will. In fact, I still have a blogspot account out there, though I'm afraid I don't remember the username or the password. That was started in order to serve as a journal of the time I spent the summer in Korea.
